After School

After schoolSyracuse Say Yes to Education after school programs tap into the intellectual gifts and talents of all young people. They provide all students with a rigorous, preparatory, project-based enrichment curriculum that aligns with the Syracuse City School District curricula, and a talent development curriculum built on students’ interest. Enrichment opportunities, youth engagement activities, and leadership opportunities aim to develop the talents in all children, and support their physical, social and cognitive growth in a safe, supportive and nurturing environment.

In the 2011-2012 academic year, 18 schools will offer SYTE After-School Programs in partnership with various community based organizations and the SCSD. The after school programs will run 2 hours each day, immediately following the regular school day. The program is free and transportation is provided. Please contact the Say Yes site director at your child’s school for more information.
