Community Folk Art Center (CFAC), Inc. is a vibrant cultural and artistic hub committed to the exhibition and development of artists of the African Diaspora and underrepresented communities. The mission of Community Folk Art Center is to exalt cultural and artistic pluralism by collecting, exhibiting, teaching and interpreting the visual & expressive arts. Public programming includes exhibitions, film screenings, gallery talks, workshops and courses in the visual and performing arts. A proud unit of the African American Studies Department since 1972, CFAC is a beacon of artistry, creativity and cultural expression engaging the Syracuse community, the region and the world.

Imagining America: Artists and Scholars in Public Life is a consortium of colleges and universities that supports public scholarship and practice in the arts, humanities, and design. Such projects tend to integrate pedagogy, scholarship, and public work. Examples abound: first person story gathering, for example, carried out by faculty and students with local residents, may be contextualized in college courses and developed into local history texts, public murals, museum exhibitions, or other forms of knowledge |

The Mobile Literacy Arts Bus (MLAB) is an artist-run, renovated recreational vehicle that exists as a flexible space open to community members’ proposals for alternative educational and cultural programming.

The YMCA has served the city of Syracuse since 1858. The Arts Branch of the YMCA was founded in late 1999 with a mission to enrich lives through education in the visual, literary and performing arts. One of the key ways the Arts Branch meets that mission is through its YMCA After School Arts Program, which has provided arts and tutoring support to students in the Syracuse City School District for 10 years. |

Baltimore Woods Nature Center is a not-for-profit environmental education organization committed to promoting environmental awareness, understanding, and responsible natural resource stewardship among all people, especially children. BWNC accomplishes this through teaching and interactive programs that take place at Baltimore Woods headquarters in Marcellus, NY, as well as in urban, suburban, and other rural landscapes of Central New York. |

Prevention Network is a not-for-profit agency that educates, trains, and provides prevention services and education pertaining to substance use, abuse, and addictions to the Central New York community. For over 60 years, the agency has assisted individuals, families, schools and businesses through helpful information and training, anonymous referrals, and support services to assure positive outcomes. The Youth Development (YD) program is geared towards highlighting and supporting resources, capabilities, and potential which are inherent in all young people. We want to CELEBRATE who they are and CULTIVATE who they want to become. With a focus on emotional intelligence, peer leadership, coping and life skills, the YD program helps young people develop a life-long passion and commitment towards being healthy, resilient and drug-free. |

100 Black Men of Syracuse Inc. is the local chapter of the national organization 100 Black Men of America. Our mission is to improve the quality of life within our community and to enhance educational and economic opportunities for its residents. The 100 Black Men of Syracuse Inc. is committed to the physical, intellectual and spiritual wellbeing of our youth and providing an environment where this critical development can be realized.. We are moving toward this vision by following the model of our national organization known as “Four for the Future.” Using this model we are developing programs to serve the community in four key areas:
