Learn to Be a Tutor Session I

Say Yes Collegiate Preparatory Academy & Learn to Be foundation Partnership

The Say Yes Collegiate Preparatory Academy has entered into an exciting partnership with The Learn to Be Foundation, a national online tutoring organization that offers free online tutoring to students across the country. The Syracuse University chapter of Learn to Be and The Say Yes Collegiate Preparatory Academy will hire and train tutors to support the Collegiate Academy’s high school online tutorial model beginning Spring 2012.  Tutors will be paired with Syracuse City High School students to offer online tutoring in Math, Science, Language Arts and Social Studies. We’ve designed a flexible afternoon, evening tutoring schedule to fit with your academic/work schedule.

Tutors interested in becoming a Learn to Be tutor must attend an information and training session with Michael Hu, the Syracuse University Learn to Be Chapter President. The training dates are as follows:

 DATES & TIME:                
Friday, January 27, 2012 - 1pm to 3pm  -or-

Saturday, January 28, 2012 - 10am to 12pm

 LOCATION:  Syracuse University, room TBA
