Free Legal Clinics

The SAY YES to Education Legal Clinics are staffed by Syracuse attorneys and paralegals during the academic school year. Attorneys, paralegals, and law students assist families with children in the Syracuse City School District with legal issues that may interfere with their child’s ability to succeed in school. Walk-in Legal Clinics will be held in the following locations during the 2010-2011 academic year:

Corcoran Quadrant:

· Elmwood School, Tuesdays, 3 – 5 pm

· Dr. King Magnet School, Thursdays, 3 –5 pm
416 E. Raynor Ave., 435-4580

Fowler Quadrant

· Delaware Academy, Wednesdays, 2 -4 pm

900 S. Geddes St., 435-4540

· Frazer School, Tuesdays, 2:30 – 4:30 pm

741 Park Ave., 435-4555

Henninger Quadrant:

· Huntington School, Wednesdays, 3 – 5 pm

400 Sunnycrest Road, 435-4565

· Franklin Magnet School, Thursdays, 3 – 5 pm
428 S. Alvord St., 435-4550

Nottingham Quadrant:

· Coming in fall 2011

For more information on clinic time and location, contact the SAY YES Site Director at your child’s school or quadrant. Any parent or student in the Syracuse City School District can attend a walk-in clinic at any of the locations listed above regardless of whether their child is a student at another SCSD school.
