Family Support
Huntington Family Centers, Inc. has partnered with Say Yes to Education to provide Family Support for Student Success, a voluntary parent driven program that helps families remove barriers to engagement in school and student success.
Any family with a child at one of the Westside, Southside, or Northside schools may be eligible for Family Support services.
The Family Support program offers Family Specialists who act as a resource to families who seek assistance with the following:
- Helping to improve children’s behavior, attendance and grades at school
- Accessing community resources
- Helping your child improve their behavior, attendance and grades at school
- Accessing community resources available to you and your family
- Advocating and assisting to develop effective working relationships with school staff
Advocating with you for your children at school and assisting to develop effective working relationships with school staff
- Helping resolve children’s behavior issues at home
- Working to address other family issues that may be impacting or have the potential to impact school success.
- Working with you to address other family issues that may be impacting your child’s school success.
